When we opened our Mint Plaza café in 2008, we realized that we
felt a keen responsibility for every item sold. Furthermore, we realized that the sun
was setting on the inglorious reign of the Perfunctory Bran Muffin. No
more should coffee roasting companies get away with offering a
haphazard menu of wholesale baked goods.
Because we care so much about coffee, we care about the culinary
environment in which it exists. Our kitchen gives us the infrastructure to
fully explore and control that environment. So we delve: into granola, beer, herbs,
cake, ganache, and seasonal fruits.
